Mission Prayers
Welcome to view the prayer requests for various missionaries and mission organizations.
– Pray for our Married Couples Ministry – We were blessed to welcome 23 couples! We taught on The Five Love Languages, held workshops, played interactive games. What touched our hearts the most was that several couples who do not attend church also came. This gave us a precious opportunity to speak to them about the love of Christ in a natural and meaningful way.
– Pray for Youth Outreach & Training Workshop – We have seen a great need to gather the youth of Bojnik and invest in them with intentional care and guidance. We organized a special workshop led by people with deep experience in youth ministry. The theme of the workshop was “How to Overcome the Challenges the World Offers.” Our goal was not only to warn them about the consequences, but also to offer hope, wisdom, and practical steps that lead toward a healthy, purposeful, and Christ-centered life. We are grateful for every young person who came, listened, and opened their heart.
– Pray for Our Heart for Discipleship – We are overjoyed to gather every Wednesday for our discipleship meetings. We read the Word together, we talk openly about life and faith, and we pray for one another. Week after week, we see how God shapes hearts, strengthens character, and builds a foundation that will last.
– May the birth of Christ bring hope, peace and joy for 2026.
– The highlight of this school year has definitely been meeting every Thursday with a handful of international students for Bible study. They are 18-20 year olds attending Diablo Valley College. Most of them are not Christians, and yet they are curious and seeking. Pray that they would fully receive the love and invitation of Jesus as Lord and Savior.
– Pray for safe travel for the gradate students attending Urbana in December 28-January 1. Pray that the students will hear from God. May they each hear the Lord’s call on their lives.
– A senior student (named D) who heads up preaching and teaching for our house church, is struggling with ongoing autoimmune issues. Pray that D will be able to graduate this year and also pray that other students with a teaching gift will become apparent so that Patty can begin training them to eventually replace her.
– ‘Al‘a senior student, has been having ongoing problems with corruption in his university. His school has not processed his attendance, grades, and important paperwork for the last 2 years. Al is running a risk of not graduating on time, or even not graduating at all. This prolonged stress has affected Al’s well-being, and he has had to step down from being one of the Bible Study teachers. Let us pray with ‘Al‘ keeps wondering why GOD is not intervening for his in his life and struggling in his faith. Let us pray for him to abide in GOD’s peace, and be encouraged and strengthened.
– Continue to pray for the protection of believers and churches in Kyrgyzstan. Pray for the students to grow in the LORD and use courage and discernment when sharing the gospel.
– Please pray for Maggie, who has just completed a prayer-walking journey in Kagoshima District, Japan. God expanded my faith and broadened my vision. Throughout the prayer walks, we were often filled with the Spirit of joy, and I gained a deeper understanding of the purpose and significance of prayer walking. I also came to experience how beautiful and joy-filled are the footsteps of those who proclaim the gospel.
– Please also pray for our visits to and partnerships with local churches in Japan.
– Please pray for my Wednesday morning 5:30 AM (Japan time) Zoom English Bible class. Ask God to give me alertness and energy to participate well, and pray that the six Japanese students will continue to maintain faithful attendance.

On Monday evening, we will drive to Kalispell to share at a church, and on Tuesday we will return to Missoula to meet with church leaders. We will fly home on Wednesday, November 19. Please pray especially for safe driving, as weather conditions may be challenging.
– Please pray for my upcoming trip to Oxford, Mississippi, where I will be connecting with a church that serves international students at the University of Mississippi. I will fly to Memphis on Saturday, November 22, then drive 70 miles to Oxford. I will return to Memphis on Sunday evening and fly home early Monday morning.
– Please pray especially for Sarah, who will be taking her oral comprehensive exam on November 18 from 2:00–4:00 PM. Please pray for her preparation, for smooth technical arrangements during the exam, and that she would pass so she may continue her PhD studies at Oregon State University.
– Please continue to pray for the health of my family members.
– To continue the YSMP (Youth Summer Mission Project) tradition, ACBC is visiting San Carlos Church in the Indian Reservations of Arizona from December 19-22. The team consists of a few seminary students from China Evangelical Seminary North America, Sister Tina, Sister Iris and family, Zusell and Simon.
– The Mission team will visit families who need prayers and Good News of Christmas. The mission team will celebrate Christmas with children, brothers & sisters over a potluck and a Worship night of Christmas Carols.
– Pray for a fruitful mission and that the Good News of Christ’s Birth can touch everyone’s heart.
– Please pray for the ministry of missionaries in Hong Kong, Budapest, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Cologne, Paris, and other locations.
– Outreach and evangelism ministry:
Our missionaries in Paris, Budapest, Rio de Janeiro, and London are following up with Jewish friends they met during summer outreach events. Please pray that they would come to know the gospel and soon accept Jesus as their Savior.
– We give thanks for Nathan, a Jewish student in the United States, for his confession of faith. Please pray that he will continue to grow in his knowledge of and love for Jesus, as Wim walks alongside him to support and guide him.
– Please pray for Wim as he continues reaching out to Jewish people, especially through book sale outreach events in Amsterdam and Antwerp.
– Please pray in thanksgiving for the career of Michael, a Jewish young man in Rio de Janeiro. Pray that under Sergio’s discipleship, his knowledge of and love for Jesus will continue to grow. Please also pray for Michael and his fiancée, that they may soon enter into marriage.
– Please pray for Sergio, that he would continue to reach Jewish people like Michael through personal evangelism and street outreach.
– Please pray during Thailand’s national mourning period (following the passing of the Queen Mother). Our original plans for Christmas gospel gatherings in several mountain villages have been adjusted. With the upcoming Loy Krathong Festival, churches are now focusing on personal and family evangelism. Pray that the Lord would grant the team wisdom and guidance in sharing the gospel.
– Please pray for coworkers Mr. and Mrs. Bawei as they enter the final stage of construction at Mae Rim Mission House. Current plans include installing bathroom sinks and a simple kitchen, and if funds allow, laying plastic flooring. Pray especially for the couple’s physical, emotional, and spiritual strength as they travel in the mountains to advance the gospel.
– Please pray for mission partner Pastor Sarah, who oversees His Will Children’s Home, caring for eight orphans from mountain and border areas, as well as the Safe House for three single mothers and their infants escaping abuse and abandonment. Pray for sufficient grace for the team, that children and mothers whose lives seem tragic may experience God’s presence, provision, and transformation.
– Give thanks for CCIC-TV’s short-term mission team, who successfully ran a Chinese gospel camp for students in Mae Tho mountain churches. Of the 94 students, about half come from families practicing spirit worship, and many received the gospel during evening outreach. Please pray for Pastor Aek’s follow-up ministry with these students.
– Continue to pray for Chiang Rai Living Water Grace Church. Thank God for His protection during recent flooding, especially for students crossing rivers that reached bridge level. Pray for Pastor Yang and his wife, that they remain healthy in body, mind, and spirit, and experience God’s presence in challenging circumstances.
– Please pray for the Chiang Mai Grace Student Center as the school year begins. This year, Bella Jiahe and Michael Bimuya are preparing for university. Bella comes from a non-believing family—pray for God’s work in her parents’ hearts. Michael hopes to serve God through music and eventually as a missionary.
– Finally, pray for Wang Yujia at Capital Normal University in Beijing, China. Pray for God’s guidance in her future path, provision for study expenses, and more equipping for broader, deeper, and farther-reaching ministry.
– Pray for northern Myanmar, where the civil war has continued for over two years and has not stopped despite recent earthquakes. The situation remains unstable, with daily violence, theft, and forced conscription in various areas. Young students continue to be displaced from their homes. In preparation for the December elections, the government has begun a household census, and religious leaders—including monks, pastors, and imams—have been warned not to participate in voting. Pray for God’s mercy and protection over the people.
– Please pray for the children at Warm City AIDS Orphanage as the new school term begins. The children had a very fulfilling winter break, including Bible memorization, learning musical worship instruments, making handmade soap and cleaning products, and more. Pray that God would bless the staff and children and let them experience His abundance.
– Continue to pray for the Rubyta Gospel Center’s tutoring and evangelism ministry. Although youth ministry has been limited due to the current situation, more students continue to receive tutoring. Even though villagers may feel helpless and question the value of education, pray for God’s mercy and that the staff’s steadfast work will bear fruit and bring the hope of salvation.
– Pray for Pastor Zhu and his wife at En Yu Evangelistic Center, for their physical, emotional, and spiritual strength. Pray that God, through the vision and heart of Grace Church, will revive the church and use gospel medical outreaches, caregiver training classes, and tutoring programs aimed at Yangon University students to reach the unreached in this dark region.
– Continue to pray for Esther’s ministry. She has returned to hospital gospel work, continues to care for AIDS orphans, and is involved in remote-area evangelism and discipleship training. In December, she will join a medical team to serve at border refugee camps. Pray that God would strengthen the work of her hands.
– Please pray for the Northwest Hui City University fellowship as the new semester begins. Pray for safety during meetings. Although evangelism on campus is still strictly restricted, God continues to draw new students into the fellowship. Pray for the staff to have wisdom in welcoming and guiding newcomers in every meeting, and for students to have opportunities and skills for friendships and personal evangelism outside campus.
– Please pray for the vision of the Northwest Hui and Uyghur student ministry. In recent years, gospel materials sent in have been protected by God and effectively used, but storing them has caused great stress for staff. Materials—from paper to disks and chips—remain under threat. Pray urgently for the team to find safe and reliable ways to handle these resources.
– Pray for Jacob and his wife, who have been doing personal evangelism and discipleship among Muslims for over ten years. Pray for God’s mercy as they face stagnation, danger, lack of food, and spiritual exhaustion, that they may experience glorious hope and timely provision from the Lord.
– Please pray for Barnabas and his wife in the northeastern border city. They temporarily paused ministry because their child was ill, handing over youth fellowship and counseling gospel center work to other staff. Barnabas suffered a serious head injury at the factory, with a skull fracture, requiring over twenty days of hospitalization and a six-month recovery. He has now started to eat again. Please remember him especially in prayer for complete healing and strength.
– Pray for Joyful Sound couple’s campus ministry at Sichuan University. Students, graduate students, and faculty attend their meetings. Pray for protection and continued attraction of people to know God. Also pray for Joyful Sound’s husband to complete his doctoral dissertation, and for their family plans to return to the Northwest for ministry after he earns his degree. Pray for God’s guidance and blessing on their steps.
